Sandstorm

Today when I woke up from a long afternoon nap, I looked out the window, and there it was...the first sandstorm I have ever seen. That's when it dawned on me that it was time to start blogging again. So here I am again...blogging about my adventures and the great exciting things that happen in the front lines of ADRA's work....This time we are combating food insecurity in Niger, one of the world's poorest countries. In 2009, based on the United Nations' Development Program's Human Development Index, Niger was classified as the poorest nation in the world. Many factors have contributed to this ranking. One of the is the harsh and unforgiving climate that has become erratic over the last decade causing numerous disruption in the already struggling food production cycle. I hope this blog will give you a glimpse and some insights into what ADRA is doing to "change the world...one life at at time".
